Old shop renovated into a gîte ideally situated in the heart of the town of Saint-Lizier, a charming village whose monuments are listed as Unesco World Heritage Sites (as part of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela): 18th-century pharmacy, bishops' palace, cathedral, etc. Semi-detached house with, on the ground floor: living room, sitting room with kitchen area giving direct access to the small inner courtyard. Upstairs, 2 bright bedrooms (one very spacious with 1 x 160cm bed and a 90cm bed, the other with a 140cm bed). Shower room with WC. Internet access. Pets welcome on request. Sheets, towels and household linen provided. Things to do during your stay: guided tour of Saint-Lizier, Cathar castles (Montségur, Roquefixade), medieval towns (Carcassonne, Mirepoix, Foix...), Musée des colporteurs (Seix), Lac de Bethmale, Grotte du Mas d'Azil... All shops and services on site or in Saint-Girons (2 km).
