Away from the hustle and bustle of tourism, the gîte is located in the heart of the village of Pradons, in a quiet little lane. It has a terrace from which you can see the edge of the fat limestone plateau. Here, the River Ardèche has carved out one of its most beautiful meanders, the splendid Cirque de Gens. At the foot of the cliffs, where climbing is practised, small beaches invite you to go for a swim. The river Ardèche, the beach and the canoe base at Pradons are 300m from the gîte. Access to the "Via Ardèche" greenway is 200m away. On one side, Ruoms, Vallon-Pont-d'Arc and Grospierres, and on the other, Balazuc and Vogüé are accessible on foot or by bike via this greenway. The easy, level 28km route between Vogüé and Grospierres crosses a number of structures, including viaducts and tunnels. In this natural setting, you can enjoy a host of sporting activities including hiking, running, mountain biking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, fishing, climbing, paragliding and even free-fall jumping at 200km/h... Our air-conditioned village house has been renovated over two levels. The first level comprises a master bedroom with a king-size bed (180x200cm) and a living room opening onto a fully equipped kitchen. A large bedroom that can be adapted to suit families has been converted upstairs. It can be configured as either a king-size bed (180x200cm) and a single bed (90x200cm), or three single beds (90x200cm). There is also a shower room and separate toilet. We provide towels (a shower sheet and a small guest towel) and bed linen for your stay (beds made up on arrival). This linen must be kept inside the accommodation, so please bring your own beach towels. We also provide a closed storage area for your equipment (bicycles, pushchairs, beach games, etc.). ► Additional information: - Prices include a flat rate of 60kWh/week (ecological approach for sensible use of air conditioning and heating). Joint reading of the electricity meter carried out at the time of the move-in and move-out inventories. If the meter is exceeded, consumption will be charged at the current EDF blue rate. - Tourist tax (€1.43 in 2025). - End-of-stay cleaning not included (end-of-stay cleaning option except kitchen area for €80). - No smoking accommodation. - Pets not allowed. - Accommodation not suitable for parties.
