LOU GRAOU CHEPRE is a stopover gîte, welcoming walkers, cyclists, motorcyclists and a wider clientele who need to stop off for one or more nights. It is also a venue for courses in naturopathy, art therapy, sophrology, socio-aesthetics, music, etc.

The house has plenty of indoor and outdoor space for relaxing after a busy day. the property was recently renovated (2021) by local craftsmen. the 3 bedrooms are on the first floor and have access to recent bathroom facilities (4 showers, 2 WCs, washbasins). WIFI access is free. If you book in advance, you can enjoy breakfast and dinner served outside, weather permitting. Starting from the house, there are a number of walking and cycling routes. Information will be provided on site or when you make your reservation. Other activities (such as canoeing, horse riding, guided tours, swimming, bike hire, etc.) are also available, You can see some of the feedback from our guests about their stay at Chandon on our social networks. Set in a traditional village house, our family suite offers a peaceful and tranquil setting to relax in after a busy day exploring the area. You can enjoy views of the surrounding mountains from the suite's windows or relax on the outdoor terrace. Chandon is an excellent base for exploring the region. Nature lovers will love hiking in the surrounding mountains, while culture lovers can visit the castles and museums in the area. We are also close to several ski areas, making it an ideal destination for winter sports.

The Lou Graou Chèpre stopover gîte is located in Chandon (42190, a 15-minute walk from Charlieu, one of France's 100 most beautiful sites), 600 m from the GR765 Chemin de Compostelle. With a 3-hour train journey from Paris, you can be with us in no time (transport possible from Pouilly sous Charlieu). The gîte has been awarded the "Compagnon de route" label by the FFRandonnée de la Loire and the "Accueil Vélo" charter. Set in the countryside, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast, evening meal and picnic lunch are available on request; Wellness treatments (massages, naturopathy, relaxation therapy) are also available on request.
