Raising awareness of scams

Don't hesitate to report scams on the Ministry of the Interior website: internet-signalement.gouv.fr

Clévacances France is doing its utmost to block the receipt of messages from an address reported as a scam. As a general rule, be cautious when faced with requests that seem suspicious and take the reflex to search for the email address on the internet to see if sites such as www.signal-arnaques.com or www.arnaques-internet.info come up.

You will find below some reported scams.

⚠️02/01/2025: Warning, do not respond to requests from the email ⚠️

⚠️07/02/2025: Warning, do not respond to requests from the email ⚠️

  • email: [email protected]
  • 0695653603: M.Yvette

Very well-written message with the exception of Clévacances transformed into Clevances.

This number is already referred to under another name Buri..
In fact, the sourpuss absolutely wants to have a RIB as indicated on Signal Arnaque.
For our part, we have not replied.
    Good end of day
    Evelyne Bonnet

⚠️ PRECISION SCAM Ms BENON Anne:
Mrs BENON ANNE, calls you directly and asks for a rental period. At first glance, this caller seems completely honest on the phone, so it's difficult to spot the scam. Then for payment, she asks you to connect to her banking application to validate the sending of immediate payment to her account.

⚠️ ATTENTION:
An attempted scam is currently underway on tourist destination websites, targeting accommodation providers. We are sharing the information with you so that you can be vigilant and spread the word in turn.

Fraudsters are posing as interested customers:

- to collect information, which they then use to create fake online adverts and mislead others. Beware: these people may even go so far as to greet their victims in front of the furnished accommodation, pretending to be the legitimate owners
- in order to be reimbursed for a stay they have never actually paid for.

This scam affects many destination sites, not just the one in the Creuse: Haute-Vienne, Dordogne, Ariège...
