🚗 By car The gîte has a large, enclosed, secure courtyard for parking your vehicle in peace and quiet. From Paris (about 2h15): Take the A4 motorway towards Reims/Metz/Nancy, then take the A26 exit towards Troyes/Châlons-en-Champagne. Join the N44 towards Vitry-le-François, then follow the signs for Saint-Amand-sur-Fion. From Reims (approx. 1 hour): Take the N44 towards Châlons-en-Champagne, then continue towards Vitry-le-François until you reach the Saint-Amand-sur-Fion exit. From the east (Metz/Nancy - approx. 1hr 45mins): Follow the N4 towards Paris/Vitry-le-François, then join the N44 towards the village. 🚊 By train Champagne-Ardenne has excellent rail links. Once at the station, we recommend that you hire a car or take a taxi to the gîte. Vitry-le-François station (nearest - 12 km / 15 min from the gîte): Direct TGV line from Paris-Est (approx. 1h25 journey time). Regular TER services from Reims or Châlons-en-Champagne. Châlons-en-Champagne railway station (25 km / 25 min from the gîte): Numerous TER and TGV trains from Paris and the east of France. A regional bus service (Réseau Fluo Grand Est 51, route 140) runs from Châlons-en-Champagne station to the "Saint-Amand Mairie" stop, just a short walk from the gîte. ✈️ By plane For travellers arriving from further afield: Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) or Paris-Orly (ORY) airports: Located around 2 hours away. From CDG, you can also take a direct TGV to the Champagne-Ardenne TGV station (near Reims), then a TER to Vitry-le-François. Châlons-Vatry airport (LFOK): Located around 40 minutes from the gîte (mainly for certain low-cost or charter flights, depending on the season).
