Situated 10 km from the sea and 15 km from Ile Rousse, A Casa di Mamo is an authentic semi-detached village house on 2 levels, measuring 70 m². You enter through the kitchen, which is fully equipped with all you need for cooking. There is an adjoining bathroom with shower, storage cupboard, washing machine and separate toilet. The living room has a 140cm sofa bed, TV and hi-fi system. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with a double bed (140cm) that connects to a second bedroom with 3 beds, 2 of which sleep 90cm, the other 120cm, and a cot. The terrace, with chairs, table and barbecue, is accessible from the first floor and offers uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains. Bed linen and towels provided free of charge; cleaning charge (15 euros). Heating not included in winter. A quarter of an hour away, there's a large beach (no parking charge); you can also head for the mountains via the beautiful village of Speloncato, 3km away, and if you keep going you'll have a magnificent panorama at the Bataglia pass, with a view plunging down the Regino valley to the tip of Cap-Corse. You can also visit the many small villages of Balagne (Pigna, Aregno, Corbara, San Antonino...) on your way to L'Ile Rousse, which, like Calvi (citadel, airport), has a port, railway station and plenty of shops. Corté and the Centre-Corse region will surely win you over with its many itineraries, which will enable you to explore many of the region's nooks and crannies. You can also take advantage of your stay to go hiking, as there are a number of footpaths at your disposal, enabling you to discover a wide variety of pretty spots. Various cultural events are also organised during the summer.
