La Charmatière is a former farmhouse in the Monts du Lyonnais, converted into two holiday lettings: Saphir and Rubis. The accommodation we call Rubis is a 50m² studio flat, comprising: - a cosy living area: a fully fitted open-plan kitchen, a lounge/dining area with a sleeping area (a 140x190 bed and a 140x190 sofa bed separated by a screen), - a bathroom with shower – separate toilet The accommodation is equipped with: a flat-screen TV, a radio/CD player and reversible air conditioning. You’ll have access to a private terrace furnished with garden furniture and a barbecue Private parking – Access to the studio via a flight of stairs. No Wi-Fi: a welcome break from the digital world, even though all networks are available here! Haute-Rivoire is a village nestled in the heart of the Monts du Lyonnais, between Lyon and Saint-Étienne. In this peaceful, rural setting, you’ll have the chance to stroll along our many hiking trails, go fishing in our charming little rivers, or explore some remarkable places: Salva Terra, the Courzieu Wolf Park, the Chazelles-sur-Lyon Hat Museum and workshop, Feurs, the town, its museum and the Forez Ecopole (with its large market on Tuesday mornings), St-Symphorien-sur-Coise, listed as one of the ‘Most Beautiful Villages in France’. Just 50 km from Lyon and 45 km from St-Étienne – perfect for a city break!

We do not live on the premises, so the arrival time can be adjusted on request.
