Description
Welcome to our Gîte, located in our renovated farmhouse, where we live as a family! You will be welcome to share discussions, aperitifs ... if you feel like it, otherwise we will of course be as discreet as possible. You have a separate entrance on the ground floor, an equipped kitchen, living room with sofa bed, 1 bedroom with double bed (140x190), cot and baby equipment. Bathroom with walk-in shower, WC, washing machine. Central heating. Outside there is a green area with garden furniture and barbecue. The setting is green and peaceful. There are many walks from the gîte. The Lac Blanc ski resort is 5 kilometres away, where in summer there is an adventure park (barefoot trail, accrobranche, paint ball, hiking, bike park) and in winter downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, toboggan run... There's lots to do: numerous inns, hiking trails, tourist attractions including the most beautiful villages in Alsace, museums, cinemas, hiking, ski resorts, dog sledding or canicross, spas... all within 5 to 30 minutes' drive of the gîte! The town centre is also just 5 kilometres away, with all amenities. Orbey is a quiet town, with a supermarket with petrol station, a pharmacy, a tobacconist's/newsagent's, various beauty/health shops, several bakeries and local producers and several restaurants and farm inns. Lake, cross-country and downhill skiing, hiking, tree-climbing park, barefoot trail, paintball, summer tobogganing, bike park, museum.... All these activities are no more than 10 minutes away by car. Many typical villages are not far from here, including Kaysersberg (20 minutes), Colmar (30 minutes) and Ribeauvillé (40 minutes). Many restaurants and farm inns, animal parks and amusement parks are also within 1 hour's drive during busy periods.
Access map
To reach your destination, follow the signs for Pairis in Orbey. When you come out of Pairis, there is a junction pointing in the direction of Lac Blanc or Col du Wettstein. Between the 2 there is a dead-end road with a sign for Gîte Ancel, and the house is at the end of the road.
