IN OMAHA BEACH - The house of the Liberation June 6, 1944 is a historic place and place of memory: symbol of rediscovered freedom and peace, it has a lodging with a capacity of 6 people in an independent part of this old farmhouse . The cottage includes: On the ground floor : An equipped kitchen (, LV, LL, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, boiler, coffee maker and kitchen utensils and storage furniture). 1 living room + sofa, TV + wifi, internet and storage furniture. 1 living room (with a convertible sofa bed for 2 people + another non-convertible sofa). with decoration: a 3 m long fresco (representing the story of the morning of June 6, 1944 in these places)  A toilet Upstairs : 2 bedrooms : One with a 140 cm bed + a baby bed, (storage unit) Another bedroom of 20 m² with 3 single beds of 90 (storage unit) A bathroom (on the theme of the sea) with a bathtub convertible into a shower and storage furniture and a dryer. Additional charges not included in the offer: Bed sheets at your expense (otherwise sheet rental possible at 10 euros per bed per week) Electricity at your expense (read upon arrival and departure) Tourist TAX also payable by you, price per person: 0.80 per night and free for children. Water recorded on arrival and departure. Outside, it has: A small private courtyard (closed), with a garden table, barbecue, deckchairs, etc.  and private parking (shared) with the rest of the property for your vehicles. The cottage is located in a small country street in a quiet area being ideally positioned 800 m from the sea, above the cliff and in the very heart of the landing beach at OMAHA BEACH, It is located in the immediate vicinity of the American cemetery of COLLEVILLE SUR MER and the Pointe du Hoc. HIGH PLACE OF MEMORY at the very center of all the visits to be made on the theme of the landing. In addition, on site in another part of the farmhouse, a room recreated as in the 1940s is available for free viewing. You will be at the very heart of the story with a capital H. I myself come from a family of resistance fighters in OMAHA BEACH, I will be immensely happy to be able to tell you what they experienced during this period (...) and what happened on the morning of D-DAY in this property (according to testimonies from that time). Je suis présent à votre arrivée ou en cas d' absence de ma part les indications vous seront communiquée en amont pour pouvoir accéder au gîte , je passe vous voir et en même temps faire un état des lieux à votre arrivée (ou une personne me représentant ) et pour vous prendre la caution et à votre départ pour faire un état des lieux et vous rendre la caution déduction de toutes éventuels dégradations faites durant votre séjour . ( remboursement au plu tard 1 mois après votre départ déduction des frais à facturer suivant devis de remis en état ou de remplacements de matériels .)
