La Roseraie du Barbet: a country spirit in the heart of the Cité Comtale of Foix The Roseraie du Barbet will delight you with its "country" spirit. Its magnificent, award-winning garden offers intimate spaces conducive to relaxation and contemplation. Treat yourself to a peaceful, cosy getaway in the heart of Foix. Nothing can spoil your good mood as you discover this cosy studio, open to accommodate a maximum of 2 people, full of charm and modernity, simplicity, serenity, beauty and calm. If you'd like to find out more about this unique countryside setting, just 2 minutes from Foix town centre, the first shops and leisure facilities and its famous castle perched on a rocky outcrop. This 30 m2 timber-framed studio, adjoining the owner Françoise's house, has independent access. You have the option of parking close to the gîte in a cul-de-sac, or using a private, secure garage. The gîte is wonderfully bright thanks to its glazed French windows opening onto two sheltered terraces, one of which is embellished by a flower-filled pergola. The gîte is very well equipped: a sleeping area with a very comfortable bed (140 cm wide) made up on arrival (sheets, towels and household linen provided free of charge), an office area (free Wi-Fi), a living room/kitchenette and a shower room (hairdryer). A small library at your disposal: local novels, tourist guides for your future visits and places to discover in Ariège. There is also an air humidifier. Your hostess, Françoise, will be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to La Roseraie du Barbet and its local environment. Foix is at the heart of an Ariège region with an exceptional historical heritage. On site, you can visit the Château which, from the top of its rock, dominates the whole town of Foix. Nature lovers and walkers will love the Pech terraces just above Foix, where they can discover the history of the area, or take a refreshing dip in the mythical Ariège river... A wide variety of activities await you during this new summer season. Let yourself be tempted by the beauty of the Ariège!

At the southern entrance to the town of Foix, pull over to the left-hand side of the road, go straight up the allées de villote, then turn left and follow the signs for Ferrières , Prayols , you will pass the patisserie Mazas , you are now on the boulevard Alsace Lorraine , go straight on past a college on the right, boulevard Capdeville , after the college, turn left up a small hill . Turn left onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle, go straight on for 100 m and turn right into "Céline's little hairdressing salon" just after a house with blue shutters, in front of a wrought iron fence and a row of banana trees. You are now in front of number 60 Avenue du Général de Gaulle. The entrance to the Gite is just behind the house in the impasse La Peyrade. Welcome to La Roseraie du Barbet".
