From the house, you can explore the natural wealth of the Vosges Massif on a number of hiking and mountain bike trails. Located at the crossroads of the Vosges, Alsace and the Territoire de Belfort, it's an ideal base from which to explore the whole region. An Authentic and Complete Village You'll be staying in a picturesque village of 1,500 inhabitants with all the amenities you need: bakery, restaurant, greengrocer, bar, café, post office, doctor, crèche, tourist office and plenty of leisure activities (hiking, fishing, tennis, skiing, etc.). Not to be missed in the surrounding area: * The Rouge Gazon and the Ballon d'Alsace for breathtaking scenery. * The Théâtre du Peuple, a unique cultural venue * The Parc de Wesserling and the Textile Ecomuseum, for an immersion in the local heritage * The Storckensohn oil mill, witness to an ancestral tradition Comfort and privacy in an authentic setting The gîte has 3 independent bedrooms offering comfort and privacy: * Bedroom 1: Large double bed, wardrobe and comfortable bench seat. * Bedroom 2: Two single beds and wardrobe, ideal for children or friends * Bedroom 3: Double bed and wardrobe, perfect for a couple The recently renovated shower room has a walk-in shower, double washbasin, washing machine and modern toilet. For added convenience, an additional separate toilet is available. User-friendly living space and modern facilities Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, etc.) to prepare your meals with ease. The adjoining living room is a cosy space, equipped with a hi-fi system, board games, WiFi internet access and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings out with family or friends. Relaxation and breathtaking views of nature Depending on the season, make yourself comfortable in the garden furniture on the terrace or in the veranda to enjoy the view of the Vosges mountains.
