Description
Our two bed & breakfast suites are inside a horse boarding farm, surrounded by pastures, woods and vineyards. We will be happy to welcome you to our ecologically renovated typical french stone barn. Riders might even bring their hoses for a wonderful holiday experience.
Home
You'll be staying in an old stone building with a private terrace. We live on site so if you need anything, it's easy to contact us. The swimming pool is right in front of the building and secure, with a beautiful view over the horse meadows. The nearest shops are 800m (village grocery), 5km (supermarket and bakery) and 12km (town with all shops and train station). The nearest tourist attractions are Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion and the citadel of Blaye/Estuaire de la Gironde. We are right in the heart of the vineyards, and many properties can be visited, starting with our own (Château l'Escarderie, Fronsac bio). The rooms are very spacious and high-ceilinged, arranged as duplexes, each with its own private bathroom. Meals are served on the ground floor, which also has a toilet and a lounge/TV area. Wi-Fi is available throughout the accommodation. Food can be stored in the fridge, and the kitchen is available if you rent the whole property.

The charming village of Vérac is situated in Fronsadais, a region of rolling hills covered by the vineyards of Bordeaux/Bordeaux supérieur appellation. It is a perfect location for day trips to several major tourism sites (Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion, the citadel of Blaye). The surrounding countryside invites for long walks and hiking activities, with many marked trails for walking, mountainbiking or even riding. You will discover several fabulous views of the Dordogne valley while hiking along paths through vineyards, woods, little villages and valleys. Your accomodation will be inside an ancient renovated farming barn, facing our horse pastures. We also have the possibility to accomodate horses. Our family welcomes you in this haven of peace and nature! We will also be happy to show you our little exhibition of haying equipment.
