Étretat and its cliffs are a 4-minute walk away. Étretat is also a famous seaside resort. Stroll along the cliff paths like Maupassant or Monet, and maybe you'll come across Arsène Lupin. His creator, Maurice Leblanc, used to come and write at his villa, Clos Lupin... And the Royal Tennis Club is just opposite the Villa Orphée, where Offenbach wrote his famous operettas. Fécamp is just 12 minutes from our rental accommodation. Fécamp, with its fishing port, is a reminder of the past of Terre Neuvas. You can visit the Musée des Pêcheries and sample fish dishes in one of the many restaurants. Push open the door of the Palais Bénédictine, the world of plants and spices used to make Bénédictine. And don't forget to visit the abbey church, which is longer and older than Notre-Dame de Paris... The small roads along the coast and their villages will plunge you into the atmosphere of Guy de Maupassant's short stories and Arsène Lupin's stories. _ _ _
