Just a few metres from Andernos town centre and all its amenities, you can go to the beach and its magnificent jetty, a real invitation to relax, or take advantage of the region's many activities, including surfing, sailing, paddle boarding, canoeing and mini golf. You can sample the local produce on the terrace of the new market hall and enjoy the open-air market every Friday morning and the craft market in the heart of the town on Sunday mornings. There are plenty of unforgettable sights to see and do, including the ocean beaches, the Dune du Pilat, the Cap Ferret lighthouse, the Banc d'Arguin and the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux. A boat trip to the Ile aux Oiseaux (cabanes tchanquées) is a must for a complete change of scenery, and for jazz fans, the Andernos Jazz Festival is a must. You can also visit the charming village of Saint Emilion and take a boat trip to Arcachon with the Passe-Marée. Tasting oysters in one of the many oyster-farmers' huts on the oyster-farming port will delight your taste buds and your eyes in the evening, with a view of the sunset. Our rental property is close to all amenities: Bus stop 601 is just 150 m from the centre of Bordeaux. Bordeaux-Mérignac airport is just 25 kilometres away and Facture-Biganos SNCF station is 30 minutes away. Two bicycles are available free of charge to help you explore our beautiful city.
