We are delighted to welcome travellers to our humble home in the beautiful village of Vaux-en-Beaujolais, also known as Clochemerle. The walls that house the Chouette Étoile**** were built around 1875 to accommodate a winegrower's house built entirely of stone. The footprints were left with wine medals won at international competitions. La Chouette étoilée can accommodate up to 15 people, with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a large living room and a fully-equipped kitchen spanning more than 250m2. Everything has been completely renovated or created in 2021. The landscaped grounds of more than 2,000 m2 are ideal for relaxing in the shade of the birch trees, taking advantage of the saltwater swimming pool, wandering around the calm, leafy garden or enjoying a barbecue on 2 terraces. Come and discover our beautiful Beaujolais region, relax, hike, stroll and enjoy the fine cuisine of its 10 crus and 12 appellations. A variety of sporting activities await you in the nearby forests, as well as numerous leisure activities within easy reach of the gite, and a wide range of restaurants to suit all tastes, as well as an abundance of welcoming wine cellars. All your senses will be awakened, so don't hesitate, make a stopover in the Beaujolais: the Starry Owl**** will welcome you with its wings wide open.
