The gîte is located 10 minutes from the A75 motorway, shops, the Ardes sur Couzes wildlife park and the Vallée des Saints, 20 minutes from the Issoire aqualudic centre, 45 minutes from Clermont-Ferrand and the Michelin Adventure Centre, 1 hour from Le Puy de Dôme, Le Lioran, Super Besse and Vulcania. Perfect for walking (departure directly from the rental property), horse-riding (equestrian centre in the neighbouring village) or cycling. After a short climb up to the plateau surrounding the village, you'll have a magnificent 360° view: the Puy de Dôme on one side, the Haute Loire on the other with the Château de Léotoing and an exceptional impression of space. Stone lovers? Go and discover the Améthystes d'Auvergne in Forez (35 min away). On the last weekend in July, you can take advantage of the village festival, when the traditional bread oven is brought back into use and you can enjoy pizzas, apple pie and other delicious products. The accommodation has been refurbished in an old stone house. It comprises on the ground floor - a fully-equipped kitchen: oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, hob, microwave, toaster, Senseo coffee machine, small TV set - a dining room with a fireplace equipped with a double-sided insert (dining room/lounge, the insert can only be used in winter). - a lounge with a large TV - a bathroom with walk-in shower (hairdryer available) - a small hallway with stairs to the first floor on the first floor : - a large bedroom with a 160x200 bed - a 2nd bedroom with a 160x200 bed + 1 armchair convertible into an 80x200 extra bed - a 3rd bedroom with 3 90x200 beds (2 can be combined to make a 180) - separate toilet - bathroom with whirlpool bath + wc - dressing room The house also has a games room for children or grown-ups on the garden level. Games available for all ages (board games and outdoor games) A washing machine (with detergent and fabric softener), a tumble dryer, an ironing board and iron and a clothes line are available in the gîte. Wifi access Baby equipment available on request: cot, high chair, bottle warmer, small bath. Bed linen, household linen and cleaning products provided. Beds are made on arrival. A small enclosed area with garden furniture is located in front of the house and another behind with a trampoline + 1 parking space. Parking is also available on the village square. Special points: the gîte has stairs, is non-smoking and pets are not allowed. Towels for hire: 4 euros (1 large towel + 2 small ones) Cleaning package: 70 euros Covid protocol: disinfection of the gîte between 2 rentals, washing of bed linen at 60° and bathroom and household linen at 95°. Additional tourist tax: 0.70 euros / adult person / day. Period requiring heating: Heating supplement according to electricity consumption on the basis of 56kWh included in the rental and 0.18 euros per kWh beyond that.
