In Boisset, in the heart of the Cantalienne Châtaigneraie, the "Gîte de Felgines", an old typical Auvergne farmhouse, welcomes you in a vast green setting. When you arrive, you will be breathtaking by a unique view! The house, completely renovated, welcomes you in a large park with trees and flowers. You will spend wonderful moments in peace on one of the 2 terraces or even inside, nestled in the corner of the stove in this cottage which offers an excellent level of equipment and comfort! Located halfway between Conques and Aurillac, and 20 minutes from the Saint-Étienne-Cantalès dam, the Felgines gîte will allow you to recharge your batteries while enjoying, less than 10 minutes by car, all services, shops and outdoor activities and leisure (horse riding, swimming pool, tennis, etc.) If you prefer walking or running or even mountain biking, come quickly because you are here at the crossroads of many marked trails. Cottage ideally located for visiting our magnificent Cantal department and its neighbors Lot, Corrèze and Aveyron You will appreciate the magnificent landscapes of our beautiful region, its mountains, its green valleys, its castles, its towns of character (Maurs, Laroquebrou, Marcolès, ...) its famous and unmissable sites of Salers, Le Puy Mary, Conques, Rocamadour, Padirac , Saint-Cirq-Lapopie ... Access from AURILLAC via the N122, then follow signs for Cayrols. When you leave Cayrols, turn left in the direction of Boisset until you reach a place called Pradayrols. At the Felgines sign turn right and after a hairpin bend go down a track and turn right one last time at the gîte (you will see the Clévacances sign). Access from Maurs via the RN122. On leaving Maurs, continue on the RN122 and turn right onto the D617 towards Boisset. At the first crossroads, don't head for Boisset, just continue along the road and take the second crossroads, heading for Lacalmontie. Follow the stream for a few metres, then turn right again. You will come to a sheer drop, take a hairpin bend and continue uphill until you come to a place called Lacalmontie. Continue along the plateau road for a few kilometres. Turn left towards Felgines, and you will pass the first house on your left. Continue on and you will arrive at the gîte (you will see the Clevacances sign).
