Outstanding and unusual setting, away from main roads, where you can get away from it all and enjoy birdsong, greenery, peace & quiet, rest and comfort. Ideally located between Amiens (30 min.) and the Baie de Somme (45 min.), you'll be able to explore this lovely region, its towns, villages and 'unmissable' sights, such as: Long (2km, one of the loveliest villages in the Somme valley), archaeological site of Samara (15km), underground settlement at Naours (26km), city of Amiens - Notre Dame Cathedral, the 'Hortillonnages' (marsh gardens), St Leu district known as the Little Venice of the North (30km), Le Marquenterre bird sanctuary (54km), towns on the Baie de Somme (St-Valery-sur-Somme, Le Crotoy, Le Hourdel, Ault, Mers-les-Bains). Fishing possible off pontoon beside lake open to river Airaines (full fishing permit or day permit OBLIGATORY). Secure access to pontoon (fence) so small children are safe.
