Beautifully decorated, with a high level of comfort and a very quiet area, it's the perfect place for nature lovers: lake and ocean. Sanguinet is located on the border of the Landes and Gironde departments, on the axis linking the Arcachon Basin and Bordeaux. It's a remarkably well-preserved natural area in the heart of the Landes forest, home to a rich and varied fauna and flora, not forgetting the lake, the jewel in the crown of the region. A village on a human scale, you'll find all the local amenities and services, health and shops (bakeries, butchers, Intermarché (drive) etc...). Just 800 metres from Lac de Sanguinet (800m from the kite-surfing beach and Port de l'Estey and 1km from the 1st beach), you can get there by bike or on foot by taking the cycle path (Lacanau/Biscarosse) which passes in front of the house and 2 km from the village. You can hire bikes and boats, with or without a licence. You can also visit the Bay of Arcachon 13 km away, climb the Dune du Pilat (a UNESCO World Heritage site) 25 km away and watch the sun set, surf 11 km away or enjoy the beach at Biscarosse or its lake with your family. The 9-person gîte has been completely renovated. The quality bedding and appliances are brand new. It has 3 bedrooms, including a master suite (WC and bathroom), all with TV. 2 WCs (1 separate and 1 in a bedroom), 2 bathrooms (1 separate with a large walk-in shower (160x90), double washbasin and hairdryer and one in the master suite with a walk-in shower (140x90), single washbasin and hairdryer, 1 large living room with fully-equipped kitchen (dishwasher, traditional oven with cold glass door, microwave, coffee makers (tassimo + classic), electric kettle, toaster etc...) and a storeroom (washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron, clotheshorse, hoover, brooms). The house is air-conditioned. Outside (900 m2 plot), there is a large wooden terrace (32 m2) with table and chairs, barbecue and deckchairs. A pergola with garden furniture. A 12m x 3m petanque court. A relaxation area with a SPA is in the process of being installed (extra charge 100€/week). You will be welcomed by the owners. Check-out time is 10am max and check-in time: from 12.30pm to 3pm. A tour of the house will be given to give you instructions on how to use the appliances and any good ideas for going out/restaurants etc.... Local products will be offered.
