"Au coin de fées" is a 3***-rated bed and breakfast in the heart of the village of Les Forges, part of the Communauté d'Agglomération d'Epinal. Les Forges is a village of around 2,000 inhabitants, named after the community built around three families of blacksmiths who settled here in the 11th century. When you stay with us, you'll be close to Epinal (5 km away), so you can take advantage of all the amenities and infrastructures of this pretty town (including sports and cultural activities). The village is criss-crossed by the Canal de l'Est, 500 m from the road to Mirecourt. This former towpath has been converted into a Véloroute and crosses the département from north to south. It's an ideal place for cycling, walking or rollerblading, with family or friends, along the water's edge. Close to the forest, mountain bikers can take advantage of the 1,500 km of marked trails. Fishermen can indulge their favorite passion with the Canal des Vosges just 200 m away via the Chemin des Tuileries, the Lac de Bouzey 4 km away and the Moselle River running through Épinal and Golbey. Walkers and hikers are also catered for, with routes marked out by the Club Vosgien. Completely refurbished in 2022, our self-catering cottage has its own entrance on the first floor, equipped with sanitary facilities, a laundry room and an infrared sauna for 3 people. Upstairs, on 56 m², you'll find a bedroom with a Queen Size bed (160x200) and a desk, a bathroom with Italian shower, a separate toilet and a living room of approx. 20 m² with a dining area and a sofa bed (140x190 when unfolded). Adjoining this living room is a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, etc.).
