On the borders of the Ain, Isère, Rhône and Savoie regions, Jean-Luc and Valérie offer you a warm welcome to a charming, authentic site in the heart of nature. Horses, chickens and geese will give you a change of scenery as you listen to the choir of forest birds. With no neighbors around, you're sure to enjoy a peaceful stay in the tranquility of the site. With no light pollution, the starry sky is at your disposal for an evening of contemplation. This gîte is designed to be cosy and cocooning, with all the comforts you need for a pleasant stay. Closed bike room available For non-motorized itinerants only (cyclists, horse riders, pedestrians): - 1 Breakfast basket including (tea, coffee, cocoa, bread, butter, jam and seasonal fruit): 8€ per person - 1 Dinner basket including seasonal vegetables + starchy foods (which you can prepare your own way) - 1 tart (quiche-cake type) - a yoghurt/cheese - a dessert and a piece of fruit: 15€ per person These services must be ordered at the time of booking. Sheets are included with beds made on arrival. Sheets will be changed after 7 days for 15-day rentals. Nearby attractions : The tourist environment is rich in a network of activities that will help you discover the southern Bugey and its surroundings. Near our gîte, you'll find plenty of service providers to satisfy your thirst for adventure. For two-wheeled bike rides, you can choose between the GR 59 footpaths (accessible 50m from the gîte) or the more leisurely ViaRhôna, which runs alongside the river in complete peace and quiet. Married for 26 years, with a passion for nature, horses, canoeing, DIY and all kinds of creative work. We've been working on this extraordinary site for 15 years, restoring the buildings that make up the estate (wash house, communal bread oven, barn, land and house) with patience and a lot of heart. The result is beyond our expectations. This restoration is also enhanced by the beauty of the site. That's why we decided to open a tourist business to share this place and the tranquillity that characterises it. We have many companions on the site, including our 3 horses, our adorable dog who lives in total freedom, our chickens and our geese. Having spent our professional career in a healthcare company, satisfaction and quality of service are part of our 'DNA'. We like simplicity and calm.
