A FORMER BAKERY THAT HAS BECOME A GROUP ACCOMMODATION This group accommodation occupies a village house of 180 m², the 3 levels of which have been completely renovated. Combining comfort and practicality, it has generous volumes. It has 2 entrances, one giving access to the ground floor, the other to the 1st floor. The red brick bread oven, installed in the old bakery, testifies to the past of the building. You can admire this beautiful piece of heritage by crossing the threshold on the ground floor. At this level, you will have a closed room, equipped with sockets to recharge electric bikes. A beautiful wooden staircase serves the 3 floors of the house. The dining room, spacious and bright, is furnished with two large tables, ideal for bringing everyone together for a meal. A connected television has found a place in a corner of the living room. Dishwasher, oven, washing machine, dryer… in the kitchen, you will find all the equipment necessary for your comfort. Laroquebrou, an ancient medieval city, was a center of pottery, tannery and shoemaking. The rooms bear names evoking this rich past. On the second floor, 3 bedrooms and 1 collective bathroom have been fitted out. The Les Sabotiers room, with a double bed, can accommodate 2 people. The dormitory room Les Tanneurs is equipped with 2 bunk beds, i.e. 4 beds. The Les Potiers room, with its double bed and its bunk bed, is designed for 4 people. The large bathroom, with its 3 sinks and 2 walk-in showers is arranged for collective use. Doors, installed at the level of the shower cubicles, preserve privacy. The shoemakers suite occupies the entire third floor. It consists of a lounge area, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a bedroom with 3 single beds (1 bed and 1 bunk bed). In each of the 4 bedrooms of the gîte, lockers with padlocks are available to you. If you are on an itinerant hike, on foot or by bike, this gîte has all the assets to offer you a pleasant stopover. Subject to availability, you can rent a room “at the last minute”, with shared common areas, by contacting the owner directly. Good to know The bed linen is provided.
