We are keen to make our guests feel welcome, and to keep our premises clean and tidy. We attach great importance to making people feel at ease and giving them a warm welcome. What's more, we added a personal touch during the renovation, with a sober but careful decoration. The first meeting, depending on the time of day, takes place at the port of Carantec, so that we can get to know each other and then accompany our guests to the gîte by the submersible road. Of course, this will depend on the times I've set beforehand. Following a presentation of the site and surroundings, a welcome gift is offered. Presentation of the 1700 m2 garden, then of the beaches close to the gîte... A welcome booklet containing all the detailed information you need to make the most of your stay is made available to you. The welcome booklet sets out the rules for living in the gîte, and provides plenty of advice and special instructions to make your stay even more enjoyable. Presentation of a leaflet pack detailing nearby leisure activities and sites to visit in the region, as well as sports, water sports and other activities. A presentation and inventory of the appliances, followed by a demonstration of how to use the electrical equipment: heating, hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, barbecue, washing machine, parasol, etc.

Geographical location First of all, you need to get to Carantec (29660), a pleasant town with 3,300 inhabitants, very close to Morlaix, St Pol de Léon, Roscoff and the island of Batz. A commune in the Finistère department in North Brittany, known for its microclimate. The town of Carantec is classified as a tourist resort, and has many attractions. Ile Callot belongs to the commune and is accessible from the mainland via a submersible causeway. An island full of charm, essentially made up of small coves of white sand. There's always a beach sheltered from the prevailing wind... The island is made up of two granite islets linked by a dune belt. The northern part of the island, battered by the waves and winds, offers a landscape divided between wild dunes and a granite complex exposed to the sea spray. A small chapel built at the beginning of the 6th century stands at the highest point. This is a remarkable site, ideal for 360° photos. The views are unobstructed over the two bays, with the possibility of capturing the "Château du Taureau" and the "Ile Louet" on film... Access to an island is very special, so you need to take a few precautions... You will be advised and guided. Access to the island is via a 700-metre-long submersible road, on foot, by bike or by car, depending on the timetable. You'll need to live with the rhythm of the tides. We welcome our guests for the first time at Carantec harbour to get to know each other, explain the area and guide them around. A tide calendar is provided with all the information you need to use it. Guests are also given an access badge for the island, so that they can drive onto the island in their own vehicle. We also inform them of a few additional parameters to take into account, such as the coefficients and the weather... We accompany our guests on this first trip to the gîte.
