Description
The Gite Chateau Besson is a ground-floor flat for 8 people, rated 4 stars and awarded the "accueil randonneurs et cyclo touristes" label by the Comité Départemental du Tourisme. Lynda and Stéphane welcome you to their gite, which has 3 bedrooms decorated in a brocante style. Your comfort is their priority, and their aim is to make you feel as at home as possible! For your well-being, their Hammam, designed and built by Stéphane, is at your disposal, and you can also enjoy the outdoor spa (under 12s are not allowed) from May to September. The château is 10 minutes from the "Montluçon" motorway exit on the A71, a distance of 12km. In Désertines, you have the opportunity to go on some very nice walks, in particular the green route of the Berry canal. You can also discover: our wash-house, the Perrier tower, our 12th-century church, the footbridge and our many little lanes. The historic centre of Montluçon is a 10-minute drive away, with its MUPOP popular music museum and the Athanor Centre. It's also easy to find places to eat and stroll around the old town.

I will be delighted to welcome you on your arrival. Beds will be made and towels provided. I'll also keep a bottle of local organic apple juice, a selection of home-made jams and a few local beers in the fridge.

I'm Lynda. In 2003, we bought Château Besson with the aim of restoring it and creating a gîte on the ground floor. This has been open since July 2014. And it's with great pleasure that I welcome you to this place dating from the end of the Middle Ages. It has 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and toilet. You will also have the opportunity to spend a moment of pure relaxation in the hammam (all year round) and in the spa (from May to September).
