This is the ideal location for a wide range of activities: - in Winter: downhill skiing at the Domaine du Grand Tourmalet La Mongie-Barèges (9 km), snowshoeing at Payolle, dog-sledding... - in Summer: walks and hikes (numerous signposted trails) to lakes or sites (Cirque de Gavarnie), climbing, fishing... - in all seasons: the Pic du Midi Observatory, the Médous caves, the Aquensis thermal spa, museums and exhibitions. And after a hike, a day's skiing or a visit, don't forget to treat your taste buds to some gastronomic delights: cheeses, pies, spit-roasted cakes, Bigorre black pork, jams...
