Description

The "Echappée Crançotine" gîte is located at the foot of the church, in the village of Crançot, where you'll find all the basic shops: grocery shop, bakery, tobacconist/newsagent and medical services. Within a radius of 15 to 20 km, there are several sites to discover: Baume-les-Messieurs, Granges-sur-Baume, Château-Chalon, Lons-Le-Saunier, etc. Lac de Chalain is 20 minutes away for swimming, and wine-lovers can sample Jura cheeses, wines and other specialities (cheese factory in Granges-sur-Baume and various cellars in the surrounding wine-producing villages). A terrace area is reserved for the gîte in the shared courtyard. Bikes can be stored in a closed room. You enter the gîte through an arched doorway: on the ground floor, there is a kitchen and bathroom/WC, and a staircase leads to the mezzanine with a sitting area and a sleeping area (bed 140x190). A bedroom (blind) with 2 single beds (which can be brought together to provide a 160cm bed) completes the first floor. A washing machine is available on request.
