The Val d'Azun, in the Hautes-Pyrénées, is an ideal destination for a holiday in the heart of nature. Popular for its sunshine and breathtaking scenery, it offers a host of activities, including hikes to iconic sites such as Lac d'Estaing, Lac du Tech, the Nordic area at Couraduque/Soulor, and the legendary cols of the Tour de France. This authentic region is also rich in heritage, with typical villages such as Arrens-Marsous and Aucun, and local products such as ewe's milk cheese. A house of character designed for your comfort, in which you will find : A cosy living room with a fully-equipped fitted kitchen, a convivial dining area and a cosy sitting room for relaxing. Upstairs, 3 separate bedrooms, ideal for up to 5 people: two with double beds and one with a single bed. A shower room with Italian shower Outside, garden furniture and deckchairs with panoramic views. Parking next to the gîte. Baby equipment, sheets and towels included in the price of the stay. No internet connection, but telecoms operators offer excellent 4G/5G coverage.

You will be met and welcomed directly at the gîte. Winter precautions : beware of temperatures and access conditions! The gîte is at an altitude of 1200m, with a chance of snow. Check the weather forecast before coming to the gîte or contact the owner. Remember that socks, chains and snow tyres are compulsory for your car. You should also bring warm clothes and good footwear. The parking space close to the entrance may be inaccessible in the event of heavy snowfall, in which case parking will be at the foot of the access path on the road and the remaining thirty metres or so will have to be done on foot. Pets : You must ensure that your pets do not have access to the first floor or sleep on the sofa.
