Come and discover a little corner of paradise at the end of Finistère, facing the Ouessant archipelago in the Iroise Sea. This all-wood chalet, built on a private plot in a peaceful setting, is very comfortable and well-equipped, with a sea view. Access to the beaches and the GR 34 footpath is just 150 m away! The port of Le Conquet is only 15 minutes away, allowing you to board your boat for Molène or Ouessant. On foot, you can go to the Trézien lighthouse, 2 km from the Cross Corsen lookout point, or to Porspaul Bay, where you can stop off at one of the village restaurants. The nearest shops and restaurants are 1.5 km away via the coastal path or the tourist route. In summer, you can walk to the water sports centre, which offers catamaran, kayak, paddle and optimist activities. I will welcome you on arrival and provide you with a personal tourist guide book. Detached chalet for 4 people: Ground floor: fully-equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, microwave, dishwasher, combined fridge-freezer, dining area for 4, satellite TV lounge with sofa bed, bookcase. 1 shower room with hydromassage shower cubicle, double basins, towel dryer, bench seat and toilet. First floor 1 mezzanine bedroom with a 180 x 200 bed that can be separated into a single and a sitting area, wardrobes 1 bedroom with 2 beds 90 x 190, wardrobes Facilities and services: TV (cable/satellite channels), free WIFI internet, Ethernet, shared laundry room with washing machine, baby equipment available on request. Bed linen and towels provided, beds made up on arrival. Outside: Covered wooden terrace facing the sea, garden furniture, dining area, private outdoor shower, private parking (1 vehicle per chalet). Perfectly situated on the coast at the tip of Finistère, the chalet's location allows you to discover all the remarkable tourist sites: - Le Conquet is 15 minutes away, the port of embarkation for the islands of Ouessant and Molène, the Abbey and lighthouse of Pointe Saint-Mathieu, the Port of Lanildut (10 minutes away), Porspoder, Portsall and its wild coastline, Plouguerneau and the Pays des Abers, the lighthouse route within a 30 km radius, Roscoff and the island of Batz... - Just 10 minutes away is Saint-Renan, a well-preserved medieval town that comes alive in summer with its large Saturday morning market. You'll reach Brest and its harbour and Aquarium Océanopolis before continuing on to Quimper, Locronan, Douarnenez and the Crozon peninsula. During the summer, you can take advantage of the many local folk festivals (Fêtes de la Mer in Portsall, Fête du Crabe in Plouarzel, Festival Médiéval de Saint-Renan, Fêtes des Fraises in Plougastel, Fêtes des bières bretonnes, etc) and the region's biggest music festivals and concerts (Festival des Petites Folies, Les Vieilles Charues, Astropolis, Festival du bout du Monde, Fête du Bruit, Festival Abers Blues, Ilophones, etc). As a hotelier and restaurateur for 30 years, I welcome you personally to your chalet. I will provide you with a personal tourist guide and booklet containing useful tips, ideas for excursions, visits, markets, good restaurants and personal contacts for local tourism professionals. A "Tourism Information" area in the library completes the general information. The Kerescar chalets breathe the maritime atmosphere of Brittany's open seas and the wild coastline of the Pays d'Iroise. They are set in a typical, tranquil environment, ideal for short or long-term stays, with private parking for all. Ground floor: Spacious living room with library, kitchen area (electric oven, 4-ring gas hob, dishwasher, XL fridge-freezer, microwave, and small electrical appliances), lounge with sofa bed, Led screen TV connected to satellite allowing foreign channels to be received, free wi-fi, Ethernet for possible teleworking, etc... A bathroom with hydromassage shower cubicle or walk-in shower, double washbasins and toilet. Upstairs: access by staircase to 2 bedrooms, one of which is on a mezzanine floor and separated by a door, which can accommodate 4 or 5 travellers. - 4-person chalet: master bedroom with 180x200 bed and sitting area, bedroom with 2 single beds (90x190). - 5-person chalet: master bedroom with 160x200 bed and sitting area, one bedroom with 1 single 90x190 bed and 1 140x190 bed. Linen is provided free of charge and beds made up on arrival. For babies, a high chair and cot are available on request. Outside : In a shared private plot of 1000 m², each chalet has its own private covered terrace facing the sea, equipped with a dining area and a lounge for relaxing in a garden planted with palm trees. One private parking space per chalet.

Les Chalets de Kerescar in Plouarzel is a 25-minute drive from Brest train station and Brest-Guipavas airport. Year-round bus service from Plouarzel to Brest and a coastal shuttle service in summer to explore the coastal villages. A 150-metre walk will take you to the beaches, the Trézien lighthouse, the Cross Corsen viewpoint (8 km along the GR 34) greeting Ushant and its archipelago, or to Porspaul Bay (1.5 km), where you can stop off at one of the village restaurants. The first shops and restaurants are 1.5 km away via the GR34 coastal path or the tourist route. In the centre of Plouarzel (4km along the cycle path) you'll find shops and a large supermarket. The Golf des Abers is 8 km away and the port of Le Conquet is 12 km away, where you can take a boat to Molène or Ouessant. In summer, you can walk 800 m to the Porzman water sports centre, which offers catamaran, kayak, paddle and optimist activities. For those who love the thrill of the waves, there are several surf spots and an introductory surf school just 10 minutes away. The "Blue Nash" horse-riding centre is 4 km away, where you can enjoy a horse ride through the dunes and paths. You'll be able to enjoy your holiday to the full in an unspoilt environment rich in authentic heritage. You can observe the seals and dolphins of the Marine Park by visiting the islands with the shipping companies (departing from Le Conquet) or by organising a private outing (on request and reservation) in their natural habitat.
