The Les Sabotiers room, located in the Laroquebrou gîte, sleeps 2 in a simple, friendly setting close to the Saint-Étienne-Cantalès lake. This comfortable double room is ideal for a couple's stay, a weekend in the Cantal or a stopover during a trip to the region. This room is part of the gîte communal de Laroquebrou, which offers several rooms for individual rental in a friendly, stopover gîte style. As in a stopover gîte, the rooms are private, while some rooms are shared between travellers. Shared areas Travellers have several shared rooms at their disposal: - fully equipped kitchen - dining room - bathroom - sanitary facilities Sheets are provided, but beds are not made on arrival. Cleaning is included. One-night stays are possible, making it an ideal stopover for itinerant travellers and cyclo-tourists. Pets are not accepted. Ideal for cyclists and backpackers The local gîte has secure storage for 13 bikes, with the option of recharging electric bikes. An asset appreciated by cyclists and itinerant travellers on the roads of the Cantal. Between lake and heritage Just a few minutes away, the Lac de Saint-Étienne-Cantalès offers swimming, water sports and walks around the lake. The lake at Saint-Étienne-Cantalès also offers great opportunities for cycling, with panoramic routes around the lake and through the Cère valley. It's easy to get to by car, and the gîte is a convenient base for exploring the Cantal, the surrounding valleys and the great volcanic landscapes.
