The Tèrra room (pronounced Terro ) means “Earth” in Gascon. Located on the second floor of the Casa Della guest house, this room takes its name from our soil type, the main element that dictates the cereal crops and grape varieties planted on our estate. The imitation travertine in the independent en-suite shower room and the decoration of this room echo our clay-limestone soils. The room is equipped with a large 160cm double bed, a TV, a small bookshelf and a folding desk. Breakfast is served outdoors or indoors, depending on the season. Casa Della has been our family home since 1962. The first stones of this Gascon building were laid in 1837. In 2024, we are delighted to have renovated it. Why Casa Della? Casa refers to our “home” in Gascon. Della refers to our Italian family name: Della Vedove. We're just a 5-minute drive from the charming village of Bassoues, a typical bastide in southern Gascony. We're also a 20-minute drive from the 3 festive Gers villages of Marciac, Vic-Fezensac and Mirande. Lupiac, birthplace of d'Artagnan, is a 15-minute drive away. Nearby partner restaurants, which we will point out to you during your stay, will enable you to discover our local gastronomy.
