Personal welcome by the Della-Vedove family and tour of the Domaine de BiléThe Casso room (pronounced Cassou) means oak in Gascon. Located on the second floor of the Casa Della guest house, the Casso room faces our armagnac ageing cellars, hence its name. Oak is the most important element in the ageing of our armagnac eaux-de-vie. This room boasts the largest shower room, a comfortable volume and a beautiful parquet floor reminiscent of our armagnac pieces. It is equipped with a large 180cm double bed that can be separated to create 2 90cm beds. Umbrella bed option for a child at no extra charge (up to 2 years). A TV is available in the room, as well as a bookshelf and a small desk. Breakfast is served outdoors or indoors, depending on the season. Casa Della has been our family home since 1962. The first stones of this Gascon building were laid in 1837. In 2024, we are delighted to have renovated it. Why Casa Della? Casa refers to our “home” in Gascon. Della refers to our Italian family name: Della Vedove. Our family-run wine estate offers you a rejuvenating, unspoilt environment between vineyards, forests and lakes. Casa Della is the perfect place to stay if you want to recharge your batteries or discover and visit the Gers: its heritage, lush green landscapes, festivals, producers, people, picturesque villages and much more.... We're just a 5-minute drive from the charming village of Bassoues, a typical bastide in southern Gascony. We're also a 20-minute drive from the 3 festive Gers villages of Marciac, Vic-Fezensac and Mirande. Lupiac, birthplace of d'Artagnan, is a 15-minute drive away. Nearby partner restaurants, which we will point out to you during your stay, will enable you to discover our local gastronomy. A shared kitchenette with fridge and microwave is available on site, so you can enjoy local produce from our producers in our store and delicatessen. Free parking for cars, bikes and motorcycles.
