Nestling in the heart of the picturesque hamlet of Dio, close to the Parc Naturel du Haut-Languedoc, this character house is an old farmhouse built of local stone, completely renovated and laid out over two floors. It welcomes you for a rejuvenating stay, between nature and heritage, in a peaceful and authentic setting. This spacious, light-filled 80 m² gîte can sleep up to 4 people. On the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchenette opens onto the dining room. A separate toilet completes the space. Upstairs, a cosy lounge leads to a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with two single beds. A shower room, separate toilet and mezzanine with sofa provide additional comfort. The accommodation has electric heating and a television. Linen hire and end-of-stay cleaning are available on request. Outside, there is a 6 m² terrace on the first floor with garden furniture, a barbecue for al fresco dining and a 30 m² covered, enclosed shed. The gîte is ideally located for exploring the Château de Dio, the Lac du Salagou and its glowing landscapes, the Cirque de Mourèze and the village of Villeneuvette, a former royal factory founded by Colbert.
