The advantages of the accommodation
Description
Josselin is not just a stopover, it's a destination. It's such a pleasant place to live in this "little town of character" in Morbihan that you'll never want to leave. Just like the gîte run by La Josselinaise, whom you might bump into at the wheel of her 2CV. When you enter this former shop, the modernity of the ground floor contrasts with the charm of the upper floors: exposed beams, solid wood furniture and flowery tapestries. The retro atmosphere smacks of Proust's madeleine. From this Josselin stop-off point, you can continue your journey along the river Oust and elsewhere: along the towpath, in the Brocéliande forest, at Lac au Duc, or a little further on to the village of Malestroit... The house is semi-detached on both sides, and is an old shop on Rue Glatinier that we have converted as follows: - ground floor: living room with open-plan kitchen - first floor: two double bedrooms, each with its own shower room and WC - second and top floor: the medieval bedroom with two single beds, a double bed and its own shower room and WC Possibility of hiring vintage bikes, go-karts, BB buggies and PRM bikes from Bikeis, board games, etc. The accommodation is entirely non-smoking. Bed linen and towels are provided. We are obliged to clean the house and change the linen between each stay. You will be asked to wash your dishes and dispose of your rubbish at the end of your stay.

Arrival is from 5pm and departure before 10am. Subject to availability, we can accept an earlier arrival and/or a late departure for a supplement of 30 euros per change.

On the banks of the river Oust, Josselin is an important stopping-off point on the route of the Dukes of Burgundy. The town's history is closely linked to that of its castle, which dominates the town. In terms of nature, Josselin also has much to offer with its canal, where walkers and cyclists can follow the lively towpaths and take advantage of the many boats on the river quay to stroll through a picture-postcard landscape.
