Description
Set in a vast 39-hectare estate in the heart of the Sologne region, we are the ambassadors of the Coeur de Sologne tourist office association. Rates include linen and cleaning (except tourist tax). You're in for an extraordinary stay. The forest surrounds you, serenity envelops you and the animals will be your closest neighbours. The Gite La Chouette with PRM access is 220 m², surrounded by several hectares of parkland and woods, and sleeps 11 people. Large living room with fitted and equipped kitchen, large dining table, one PRM-accessible bedroom with en-suite shower room and PRM-accessible WC on the ground floor, then upstairs, a large dormitory bedroom with 4 beds and a second bedroom with a 160cm bed, and on the landing, a study and a sofa bed for 1 person. With a heated, secure swimming pool with a 12 x 6 high cover shared by the 2 gîtes and SPA under your responsibility, the pool is winterized from December to April depending on the weather. Pond on the property (fishing possible). Property not enclosed. Long-distance footpaths near the gîte leading to Sully sur Loire and its château. Just 1/4 hour from the famous Motte-Beuvron equestrian centre, a major competition venue. Horses can be accommodated on site. 2 enclosed meadows at your disposal. TOWNS AND TOURIST SITES * Lamotte-Beuvron (10 km): Known for its Parc Equestre Fédéral, this is an ideal location for horse-riding enthusiasts and hosts numerous equestrian events throughout the year. * Romorantin-Lanthenay (50 km): The main town in the Sologne region, with its rich cultural heritage, museums and gardens, Romorantin-Lanthenay is a good base from which to explore the region. * Aubigny sur Nère (30 km): A small town in the heart of the Sologne, it offers easy access to the surrounding countryside and is a pleasant stop-off point for cyclists on the Loire à Vélo. * Zoo Parc de Beauval (100 km): Considered one of the most beautiful zoos in the world, it is home to over 35,000 animals, including giant pandas and other rare species. The park offers shows and entertainment for all the family, and is easily accessible from Souvigny-en-Sologne. CHÂTEAUX OF THE LOIRE * Château de Chambord (53 km): This Renaissance masterpiece is famous for its exceptional architecture and immense grounds. Chambord is a popular stop for cyclists on the Loire à Vélo. * Château de Cheverny (66 km): Renowned for its gardens and period furniture, this château was also the inspiration for the Château de Moulinsart in the adventures of Tintin. * Château de Blois (72 km): A historic town with a royal castle and a central role in French history, Blois is accessible via country roads and cycle paths. It is surrounded by nature, offering numerous opportunities for walks and hikes.

To go from Paris to Le Gué de Bray, located in Souvigny-en-Sologne (41600), by car, here is the recommended route: - Leaving Paris : Take the A10 motorway towards Tours. Continue on the A10 : Stay on the A10 for approximately 130 km. Take exit 19 towards Lamotte-Beuvron / Nançay (exit 19) to enter the D2020. Follow the D2020 : Continue on the D2020 towards Souvigny-en-Sologne and Le Gué de Bray. Arriving at your destination: Follow the signs for Souvigny-en-Sologne, making sure to follow the road all the way to your final destination, Le Gué de Bray. The journey is approximately 160 km long and takes around 2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
