The Albatross is a 10-metre Dutch speedboat, completely renovated and transformed into unusual quayside accommodation. Moored on the Blavet canal, in the heart of Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, it offers a peaceful, leafy setting, perfect for relaxing by the water. Inside: a bright saloon with dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, two comfortable cabins and a bathroom with toilet. Outside, the rear deck has been fitted out so you can enjoy meals or a quiet moment overlooking the river. Central heating, linen and Wi-Fi included: everything you need for a cosy stay, whatever the season. Ideal for a romantic break, a nature weekend or an inland Brittany getaway, the Albatross invites you to experience Brittany differently - gently, as the water flows by.

We welcome you personally on the platform, in a friendly and attentive atmosphere. A full presentation of the boat is given on arrival, to familiarise you with the equipment. Each trip includes a small welcome pack and a souvenir logbook, reflecting the spirit of AB Fluviale. Independent arrival is possible on request for greater flexibility.

The Blavet valley is an ideal destination for exploring inland Brittany. From Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, numerous hiking and cycling trails run alongside the river, passing through woods, locks and small hamlets. Less than 20 minutes away, Baud boasts a postcard museum, weekly markets and several craft shops. Pontivy, the former city of the Rohan family, boasts a château, a Napoleonic town centre and river walks. Heritage lovers can follow the route of the chapels and mills of the Blavet, visit Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux for its tranquillity and admire the aquatic fauna from the quayside. The central location also makes it easy to reach the beaches of Morbihan, Lac de Guerlédan or the forest of Quénécan for a day out. It's the perfect place to discover the authentic Brittany of nature, culture and the good life.

The Albatross is moored at Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, on the Blavet canal, in the heart of the Pluméliau-Bieuzy commune. Access is easy on foot via the main quay, next to the bridge and the nautical base. Free parking is available nearby. GPS address to give: Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, 56310 Pluméliau-Bieuzy. The site is accessible all year round, less than 15 minutes from Baud or Pontivy, and 40 minutes from the beaches of Morbihan.

After several years in the restaurant business, I carefully renovated the Dutch launch L'Albatross into a unique, comfortable and environmentally friendly quayside accommodation. Based in Saint-Nicolas-des-Eaux, in the heart of the Blavet valley, I offer a peaceful, authentic experience inspired by the spirit of slow tourism: taking your time, savouring the scenery and enjoying life along the water.
