Description
Ty Marzotine is the perfect starting point for exploring the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel and the Emerald Coast. The Accommodation Recently built, Ty Marzotine was designed to offer you maximum comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped (full-size refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooktop, oven, Nespresso coffee machine, crepe maker, blender, toaster, kettle, raclette set…), with access to a covered terrace facing east. The utility room features a washing machine, dryer, and utility sink. The living room opens directly onto the large southwestern-facing terrace. Ty Marzotine can accommodate up to 8 people in four bedrooms located upstairs, all equipped with storage. Two bedrooms—one with a queen-size bed (160x200) and the other with a double bed (140x190)—have access to a shared terrace furnished with lounge furniture, offering a glimpse of the sea and facing east, ideal for morning coffee or a shaded afternoon nap. A third bedroom, designed for children, features a bunk bed (2x90x200) with toys available. The fourth bedroom features a queen-size bed (160x200). These four bedrooms share a bathroom located upstairs, equipped with a bathtub and a shower. Two separate restrooms are available: one on the ground floor and the other upstairs. The house sits on a fully enclosed, landscaped lot of 450 square meters and features a large, south-west-facing terrace of over 40 square meters that serves as a natural extension of the home. It is furnished with outdoor seating, a dining table, and an adjustable umbrella, as well as an outdoor hot-water shower for when you return from the beach. A barbecue, children’s toys, and a shed for storing your bicycles round out the outdoor amenities. A large driveway easily accommodates two vehicles and trailers. The Ty Marzotine house is the ideal destination for a comfortable vacation in Cancale, whether with family or friends. Facilities and services: - Reception: The villa is managed by a travel agency specializing in seasonal rentals. Someone will be there to welcome you on arrival and ensure you have had a pleasant stay on departure. For arrivals between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m., a supplement of €40 will be charged on arrival. We do not accept arrivals after 11 p.m. - Linen: Linen is always optional and at the guest's expense (see supplement). - Baby kit available upon request (bathtub, crib, high chair, baby bouncer, potty, umbrella stroller) - Deposit: A pre-authorization of €500 will be requested one week before your arrival. - The house is not recommended for people with limited mobility, as all 4 bedrooms are located upstairs. - The BBQ must not be used on the terrace; it must remain in its original location. - Upon departure, the property must be tidied up and left in a clean and presentable condition.

About Cancale and the surrounding area: The rental is located 100 metres from the very pretty family beach of Port Mer. You can also walk to one of Cancale's must-see heritage sites: the Pointe du Groin. Cancale has many other fine sandy beaches hidden between cliffs and flora. There's something for everyone: from beautiful, secluded coves to XXL beaches, some of which are just 1 km from your rental accommodation: Plage du Verger and Plage de Saussaye. The village of Cancale is around 2 km away. You'll find plenty of shops, boutiques and art galleries. You can enjoy the market held every Sunday morning, whatever the season. During the summer, there are a number of events in the village for all ages. You can also visit the Port de la Houle. The Port de la Houle is the only south-facing harbour on the north coast, offering a very different landscape depending on the tides. With its lively bars and restaurants, you'll be charmed by its seafront terraces, its oyster market and its peaceful back streets, home to pretty fishermen's cottages. If you're a keen walker, you can take the GR34, which offers breathtaking panoramic views. The Pointe du Grouin, the starting point for the Route du Rhum, is located to the north of the commune and links the 2 seafronts: one overlooking the bay of Mont Saint-Michel, the other heading towards Saint-Malo and its Emerald Coast, dotted with magnificent beaches of fine sand. There are also a number of inland footpaths where you can discover a rich and varied flora. Cancale is also an ideal base for visiting the whole region: Saint-Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Mont-Saint-Michel and the whole bay (Le Mont-Dol, Dol-de-Bretagne, etc.).

By car : Take the D355 or D155 towards Cancale. From Saint-Malo (15 km), follow the D355 towards Cancale. By train : Saint-Malo station about 15 km away. Direct TGV connections from Paris Montparnasse, Rennes and several major cities. From the station: taxi or bus to Cancale (approx. 20-25 minutes). By bus: BreizhGo network - line 5 from Saint-Malo to Cancale. Nearest stop: Cancale Centre / Église (about 5 to 10 minutes' walk depending on the route). By plane: Rennes Bretagne airport approximately 75 km away. Then train Rennes → Saint-Malo or hire car. By bike: Cancale is accessible via the Vélomaritime (EV4) cycle routes linking Saint-Malo to the Emerald Coast.
