ANNUAL CLOSURE from 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2026 SPECIAL OFFER promotion for 14 nights rented for 2 people. 350 Euros per week OR 7 nights rented 380 Euros per week for 2 people for the whole month of June 2026 On the edge of the Mercantour National Park, the gîte is located on the heights of the hilltop village of Méailles. Between the Verdon and the Mercantour, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding countryside during your stay. The rental is a 76m2 flat on the 1st floor of a detached house on the outskirts of the village. It comprises several rooms: - 1 living room with dining table, sitting area with corner sofa / TV and DVD player, corner fireplace - 1 separate kitchen, fully equipped with appliances - 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160x200) and views of the mountains - 1 bedroom with 2 single beds including 1 pull-out bed (90x190) - 1 bathroom with bath, double washbasin and washing machine - 1 separate WC with washbasin - 1 spacious, bright veranda - Non-smoking accommodation The house is accessible via two entrances: a main entrance opening onto the private enclosed garden, where you can park your car, and a ground-level entrance from the upper part of the garden. The two levels of the garden provide two shaded terraces. - Gas barbecue available - Sun loungers, outdoor dining table -Deckchairs - Tennis rackets - Games of boules - Access to a private area in the owners' chestnut grove, 3 km from the village. The advantages of this rental - Sheets provided and beds made - Complete baby equipment available - 6kw free in July and August only, otherwise electricity charges extra, independent and communicating meter.

Danièle and Victor are a retired teaching couple. We've accompanied generations of children on their way to school, and teaching methods hold almost no secrets for us. However, over the last 15 years we've changed careers, both professionally and personally. We live eight months out of the year, totally immersed in nature, lost between the sky and the mountains, 3 kilometres from the gîte la Remise. We're in love with Méailles and travel around the world in our woods. We cultivate our own garden and enjoy "living happily hidden away". We love sharing, conviviality and authenticity. Our values are our strength. So if you choose to discover Méailles and our gîte, you won't be disappointed - you'll be warmly welcomed! The scenery is fantastic in all seasons. The starry skies are the most beautiful in Haute Provence and the Mistral wind gives an inimitable azure blue colour. So whether you're young or not, don't hesitate to come and enjoy a rejuvenating stay in our gîte, open from May to November.
