Hiking and walking: Take advantage of the many walking and cycling routes through the vineyards and countryside of Champagne. Cultural heritage: Just a 20-minute drive from the gîte, Épernay, the champagne capital, invites you to discover its famous Avenue de Champagne, lined with sumptuous facades and prestigious champagne houses. Don't miss a visit to the Champagne Wine Museum, where you can immerse yourself in the history and traditions of this unique region. A little further afield, in Reims, marvel at the majestic Notre-Dame cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece where the kings of France were crowned. Reims also has plenty of champagne cellars to explore, as well as historic sites that bear witness to the region's rich past. Discovering nature: Just a stone's throw from our gîte, Mont Aimé invites you to immerse yourself in nature and history. Rising to an altitude of 240 metres, this emblematic site offers shady footpaths, perfect for walks with family or friends. Enjoy an exceptional panoramic view over the Champagne plain and let yourself be seduced by the serenity of the surroundings.

The gîte is located in Bergères-lès-Vertus 51130, near Vertus Blancs Coteaux, with its village shops (supermarkets, bakeries, florist, hairdressers, pharmacy, medical centre). Surrounding towns: Épernay 20 km away Châlons-en-Champagne 25 km away Reims 45 km away. If you are arriving by train, the nearest station is Épernay, around 20 minutes away by car. Bezannes station, 45 km from Reims, provides connections to Paris, Strasbourg and Lille. Taxi and car hire services are available from the station to make your journey easier. Finally, if you are travelling by air, Paris Charles de Gaulle airport is around 1 hour 45 minutes away.
