Welcome to CHEZ NONO, a pretty, comfortable house in Mitzach, a small, peaceful village of 400 inhabitants nestling in the heart of the Vosges mountains. This bright, spacious gîte sleeps up to 6 people. It has two master suites with private bathrooms, a sofa bed and a large, friendly living room, ideal for sharing time with family or friends. Completely renovated and tastefully decorated, the gîte combines authenticity and modernity: fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, Wi-Fi connection, television, terrace and wooded garden. The accommodation is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Outside, enjoy a large green area with garden furniture, deckchairs, a petanque area, table football and a barbecue for your summer meals. Surrounded by mountains, forests and orchards, the gîte is the ideal place to relax and discover the beauty of Alsace. The peace and quiet of the village, the fresh air and the natural surroundings make this a real haven of peace. Compulsory cleaning supplement: €95/stay.

We'll be delighted to welcome our travellers face-to-face. When they arrive, they'll discover some local produce, as shown in the photos, to get their stay off to a good start. We will then take the time to show them around the accommodation and explain how the various facilities work, so that they can enjoy their stay to the full. Finally, we'll introduce them to the activities available in the surrounding area, including walks, cultural visits, gastronomic discoveries and nature outings, so that they can enjoy an authentic and enriching experience during their stay at Chez Nono.

The Saint-Amarin valley and the surrounding area are bursting with outdoor activities, ideal for families, hikers, cyclists and relaxation enthusiasts. Whether you're a keen sportsman or simply curious about the Alsatian countryside, you'll always find an activity to suit you! Here are just a few ideas: Hiking: numerous signposted trails starting from Mitzach, Fellering or towards the Grand Ballon. Mountain biking / electric bikes: can be hired in the surrounding area (see the hiking applications page). Visit the Parc de Wesserling: gardens, textile museum, activities for children. Summer sledging and skiing in winter: at the Markstein or Grand Ballon resorts. Farm inns: sample traditional dishes in the hills. Local markets: in Saint-Amarin and the surrounding villages (depending on the day of the week). Swimming, tree climbing, pedal boats: at Lac de Kruth-Wildenstein.

The CHEZ NONO gîte is located at 4 rue du Stoerenbourg in Mitzach, in the Haut-Rhin department, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park. The village is easily accessible by car, around 40 minutes from Mulhouse and 1 hour from Colmar. From Mulhouse, just follow the D466 towards Thann and then Saint-Amarin, before turning off towards Mitzach. The gîte is located in a quiet street, with private parking directly in front of the house. The nearest train station is Saint-Amarin, about two minutes away, with links to Mulhouse and Belfort. Basel-Mulhouse airport is about an hour's drive away.
