The advantages of the accommodation
Description
Maison Boris is an old farmhouse dating from 1700, completely renovated in spring 2026 and converted into a 2-star holiday gîte. It sleeps 2 to 4 people in a warm and welcoming environment. The house is distinguished by its atypical layout, organised on several half-levels. There's a functional kitchen, then a bathroom and toilet a few steps up, and a cosy living room opening onto the mezzanine. The result is a living space full of character, where every space has been designed to be both pleasant and practical. The living room is warmed by a central wood-burning stove, creating a cosy, friendly atmosphere. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, oven, gas hob, large fridge-freezer, microwave and small electrical appliances), allowing you to enjoy your stay in complete autonomy. In terms of sleeping arrangements, the house has two single beds that can be pushed together, an extra bed and a sofa bed in the living room, with a high level of comfort (mattress topper, pillows and individual duvets). The house has a terrace overlooking the countryside and a large, fully fenced plot of around 1,500 m². The terrain, with its natural relief, allows dogs to run and explore in complete safety. Deckchairs, a picnic table, parasol and gas barbecue complete the outdoor area. Maison Boris is particularly well suited to stays with dogs. Everything is provided for their comfort: bowls, cushions, rugs, blankets and toys are all available. Pets are welcome in any number and at no extra charge. Practical information - Free Wi-Fi on request - Cot and high chair available free of charge - Bathroom with shower and separate WC - Hiking trails depart directly from the house - Stays available from Friday to Monday, Monday to Friday or by the week NACs and category 1 and 2 dogs can also be accommodated on request, subject to prior discussion to ensure the best possible conditions for your stay. Maison Boris is a simple, warm place, ideal for a peaceful stay in the heart of nature.

Your hosts - Luc and Marije Luc comes from a family of cat lovers. Marije, for her part, grew up surrounded by dogs and passed on this passion to Luc almost thirty years ago. Since then, animals have played an essential role in their lives. Their daily lives have been marked by the presence of several companions: Golden Retrievers Mees and Lidy, then adopted bitches Stella (2010-2026) and now Lilly, who has arrived from Gran Canaria. As well as their love of animals, Luc and Marije are deeply attached to nature and the mountains. Until 2026, they lived in Switzerland, between the Alps and the Jura mountains, an environment they have always cherished. The Vosges then became an obvious choice: an authentic region, alive with the rhythm of the seasons, between snow and winter landscapes and green summers. They particularly appreciate the balance between unspoilt nature and cultural proximity. Based near Plombières-les-Bains, they like to share their 19th-century heritage, restaurants and little shops with others, either for a stroll or to give advice on where to go.
