In the heart of the forest, come and recharge your batteries in the peace and quiet of a completely renovated former farmhouse. The gîte is energy self-sufficient, supplied with electricity by photovoltaic solar panels, and heated by underfloor heating powered by thermal solar panels and a wood-burning boiler. Located in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park, this 32 m² self-catering gîte sleeps 2 to 3 people and has been awarded 3 keys by Clévacances and 4 cigognes/4 fers à cheval by the CRTE Alsace as an equestrian gîte. It is located between Lac Vert and Lac du Forlet, at an altitude of 950m, close to the Cigognes route for horse riders, numerous hiking trails including the GR5 and the TMV for mountain bikers. On the ground floor of the gîte, after the entrance, you will find a kitchen opening onto the dining area with a gas cooker, 4 burners and oven, a large solid walnut worktop and a dishwasher. For your convenience, there's a coffee machine, kettle, toaster, raclette machine and everything else you need to prepare tasty meals. In addition to the DTT antenna, you'll also be able to connect your phone to an Android TV. There is also a shower room with dry toilet on the ground floor, complete with washing machine and hairdryer. Upstairs, the bedroom has a 160cm double bed (2*80) and an 80cm alcove bed. The beds will be made up on arrival. There is also a small desk and wardrobe. Outside, there is a large terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, so that as well as enjoying your meals in the great outdoors, you can watch the animals of the forest (stag, roe deer, chamois, wild boar, badger, fox, etc.) or the stars at nightfall.
