Description
Domaine de l'Horloge comprises 3 gîtes in an old farmhouse, completely renovated in 2025. You can park safely in front of your accommodation in an enclosed area. The gîte Terre sleeps 2 to 4 people, the gîte Mer sleeps 2 to 4 people and the gîte de l'Horloge sleeps up to 8 people. The surroundings, around 1 km from the town, are ideal for relaxation or sporting activities, depending on what you feel like doing at the time! Just 200 metres away, you'll find the lake, leisure centre and greenway. In season, the leisure centre offers water-based activities (pedalo, paddle, water bike, inflatable bubbles) and a snack bar. In the town of Saint Germain des Fossés (where Fernand Raynaud spent his summer holidays as a child), you can stroll around and visit the priory (listed building, exhibitions, events). The nearby River Allier is a great place to go for walks, or to observe the flora and fauna. Ten kilometres away, you can visit Vichy, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its thermal and mineral waters. The vineyards of Saint Pourcinois, less than 20 km away, are a great place to discover vines and local produce. Lapalisse, also less than 20 km away, along the legendary Nationale 7, will charm you with its castle and lively streets. Billy, Montaigut le Blin and the Bourbonnais mountains are just some of the excursions you can enjoy during your stay!
