Description

A quiet cocoon for two, with walks starting from the gîte. In the heart of the Cantalien Châtaigneraie region, this 24 m² micro-gîte is the ideal place for two to relax, enjoy nature and go hiking. Housed in a renovated former chestnut drying shed, it welcomes you to a small, peaceful hamlet away from all the hustle and bustle. The gîte has a cosy living room with a fully-equipped kitchenette, perfect for simple meals after a day in the great outdoors. The separate bedroom has a double bed and a cosy, relaxing atmosphere. It has a bathroom with washbasin and small bath, perfect for relaxing after a hard day's work. The WC is located in the gîte. A separate shower room, with shower and washbasin, and a laundry area with washing machine, are located in a separate building on the other side of the lane, easily accessible and reserved for use by the gîte. Outside, a private terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and plancha lets you make the most of the peaceful surroundings, whether you're enjoying breakfast in the sun or a quiet evening out. A separate semi-enclosed plot of land completes the property. The gîte is particularly suitable for couples and hiking enthusiasts. It is not equipped for children or pets. The accommodation is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Open from April to the end of October, it is an ideal base for exploring the southern Cantal on foot, between valleys, forests and picturesque villages.
