Around Lac de Guerlédan Nature and water sports Beaches and swimming: Anse de Sordan and Beau-Rivage offer beaches for swimming, pedalos, canoes, kayaks and paddleboats for hire (in summer). Water sports: water-skiing, windsurfing or simply swimming on this large artificial lake. Fishing: if you like to fish (pike, zander etc.), this is a recognised fishing spot (with licence). Walks & hikes Tour of the lake on foot: a longer route (37-40 km) around the lake in the heart of the Quénécan forest - for a day or several stages. Shorter trails: panoramic walks to the Belvedere, loops around coves and beaches... Mountain biking & cycle trails: signposted trails around the lake or towards the Rigole d'Hilvern for leisurely cycle touring. Quénécan forest: total immersion in nature, with local flora and fauna. Natural sites & panoramas Gorges de Daoulas: a wild valley to discover on foot. Moors and hills around the lake: wild lookouts and rolling countryside. Local heritage & charming villages Bon-Repos Abbey An emblematic site with monastic remains, a stone bridge over the canal and a very peaceful atmosphere - perfect for a historical walk. Gouarec A typical Breton village along the Canal de Nantes à Brest: narrow streets, old market halls and a trail of historical anecdotes to discover as you stroll along. The Nantes-Brest Canal Walk or cycle along the greenway, discovering locks, wash-houses and the tranquil landscapes of central Brittany.
