Description
Located in Val-d'Ajol, the Gîte de la Forge welcomes you to an old character house that has been completely renovated. This 4-person gîte is set in peaceful surroundings in the heart of the Vosges countryside. It's the ideal place to relax and enjoy a rejuvenating stay. On the ground floor, you'll find a cosy living room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. The living room has a comfortable sofa, a connected TV, Wi-Fi and a combined wood and pellet stove, perfect for creating a cosy atmosphere. Upstairs, the gîte has two separate bedrooms, each with a double bed and storage space. A modern shower room and separate toilet complete the space. Outside, there is a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, as well as a pleasant garden. A private parking space is available in front of the gîte. For your convenience, towels are included and a washing machine is available. Pets are accepted if they are used to living with other animals. The owners have cats and goats on site, and dogs live nearby. Towels are included in the price, but sheets are available at an additional cost of 20 euros per bed. There is a cleaning charge of 50 euros. This gîte is ideal for discovering the countryside, hiking and nature of the Vosges, while staying in comfortable, authentic accommodation.

We are delighted to welcome you to our gite and to share with you this little corner of nature that we love so much. We moved here to take advantage of the peace and quiet of the countryside, but we wanted to create this gîte so that others could come and recharge their batteries in a peaceful, authentic environment. As nature and animal lovers, we live surrounded by a few four-legged friends, in particular cats and goats, who add to the charm and rural atmosphere of the place. We like simple things: walks, evenings by the fire and spending time enjoying nature. This is the spirit we want to share with our guests. We live nearby and are of course always available if you need advice, information about the region or good ideas for walks. As well as being there when you need us, we also take care to respect the peace and privacy of our visitors, so that everyone can enjoy their stay to the full. We want you to feel at home here, in a warm, simple and relaxing atmosphere.
