The valley is renowned for its hikes between forests, lakes and Vosges ridges, accessible all year round. Mountain lakes (very close by) Some of the most beautiful spots : - Lac du Schiessrothried - green lake, trout lake, white lake and black lake; glacial lake surrounded by hiking trails. - Fischboedle - a small wild lake accessible only on foot. To sum up: the 5 things you absolutely must do 1. a hike to a mountain lake (Schiessrothried or Fischboedle). 2. the Sentier des Roches for the views. 3. stroll around Munster and its market 4. a walk in the forest + the Wormsa waterfall. 5. a meal in a farmhouse inn on the ridges.

The gîte is located in a small valley in the heart of the Vosges mountains 🌲in the Ballons des Vosges nature park . ⛰️ Drive through the village as far as the town hall. Go around the town hall to the right, and after a small bridge take the first turning on the left. At the end of the small housing estate, a house with several roofs and solar panels will welcome you. You can park in front of the house, where the Gîte de France sign is. - Access map : 12 chemin de la prairie 68140 STOSSWIHR (see photo) Go through Munster and take the D417 towards Col de la Schlucht. After 2 km, turn right towards the Stosswihr town hall, which you will pass on the right. Cross the small bridge and then take the first turning on the left (chemin de la prairie).
