Welcome to the Refuge de l’Albatros 🌿 Just 15 km from Puy du Fou, in the charming village of Mouchamps – designated a ‘Petite Cité de Caractère’ – and 7 km from Les Herbiers, the Refuge de l’Albatros welcomes you for a stay in the heart of the Vendée bocage. An ideal location combining the countryside with easy access to shops and amenities. This cosy and comfortable house comprises: A lovely, welcoming living area with an open-plan fitted kitchen, dining area and lounge 3 bedrooms: - 2 bedrooms with 160 cm double beds - 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm) A bathroom with shower and bath 2 separate toilets (one of which is upstairs) A travel cot is available on request for families. Extra touches - Bed linen and towels provided - Beds made on arrival for a hassle-free stay - Free private on-site parking - The beaches of the Vendée are less than an hour away Good to know The owners also run a guesthouse nearby. Le Refuge de l’Albatros and Le Nid de l’Albatros can be booked together to accommodate up to 8 people (6 at Le Refuge + 2 at Le Nid), ideal for group breaks or extended family holidays.

The house is part of a farmhouse. Le Refuge de l’Albatros is the beige house with brick-framed windows and doors. It is the last house on the road, easily recognisable by the covered courtyard and the shrubs in front of it, so do keep a sharp eye out as you arrive. To make your arrival easier, we recommend entering the number 9 into your sat-nav. Please park in the car park by the house, just past the covered courtyard.
