Around Pornic, the 83.3 km "St-Brévin - Ile de Noirmoutier" section is divided into 3 stages: Saint Brévin / Pornic (25.7 km) Pornic / Les Moutiers en Retz / Bouin (33.85 km) Bouin / La Barre de Monts - Fromentine (34.4 km) *For lovers of HIKING: La Vélodyssée par les terres (or Vélocéan): a sunny escape to the treasures of Préfailles. Set off to conquer the beautiful countryside along the Vélodyssée par les terres (formerly known as the Vélocéan), a cycle route that reveals the hidden charms of the Loire-Atlantique region. Leave Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef and head for Pornic, then take this alternative route. This bucolic route takes you through the countryside and picturesque villages, through the centre of La Plaine-sur-Mer and on to Port-Meleu. Then head for the centre of Préfailles and the Pointe Saint-Gildas, an exceptional natural site where sheer cliffs and wild moorland rise up against the vast blue sea. Along the way, marvel at the diversity of the panoramas: lush green fields, peaceful woods, authentic villages and, of course, the wild coastline bordering the Atlantic Ocean. Breathe in the invigorating sea air, inhale the scents of the sea and enjoy the freedom of this route, which is accessible to all. Cyclists of all ages will enjoy this loop, pedalling at their own pace and making the most of every moment. *For lovers of GOLF: Le Golf de Pornic, the perfect place to combine sport and relaxation! Looking for a unique golfing experience in idyllic surroundings? Then head to Pornic! Right in the heart of this seaside town, the 18-hole course combines a wooded section with a more undulating one. The first 9 holes were laid out in 1912, making this one of the oldest clubs in France. Then, in 1992, the golf course was extended to 18 holes, providing a real technical challenge. But the best thing about this course is the friendly atmosphere that prevails throughout the year.
