Situated in the heart of the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, La Bergerie is the ideal starting point for a nature holiday, with walks in the forest, canoe trips on the Leyre, bike rides (provided free of charge on site) and excursions to the Bay of Arcachon. Enjoy an authentic holiday combining relaxation, sporting activities and cultural discoveries. Our typical Landes gite is located in Saint Symphorien in the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park. The gîte La Bergerie welcomes groups of 6 to 8 people maximum all year round. Our typically Landes gite La Bergerie : You have a large central living room of 90m², heated by a wood-burning stove. It has a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine, a lounge with television and WIFI, a DVD player and a relaxation area. There are also three bedrooms with electric heating, two with 140cm beds and one with four 90cm beds. A bathroom with Italian shower and WC. Free WIFI is available throughout the accommodation. Additional extras include a cot and booster seat, and a washing machine. OUTSIDE A barbecue and electric griddle are available for outdoor cooking. For leisure and relaxation you will find : table tennis, table football, ten bicycles and two children's bicycle seats. A children's swing, a trampoline (only in summer), a petanque pitch, a Mölkky, a shutter pitch with balls, garden furniture, sun loungers and a dry toilet. A private, secure swimming pool is available for summer refreshment. Surrounded by the Landes forest, this holiday home offers a peaceful, authentic setting in which to recharge your batteries with family or friends. Just a few minutes away, you can enjoy a wide range of activities: hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and canoeing on the River Leyre, nicknamed the Little Amazon. La Bergerie is also perfectly situated for exploring the region's must-see sites, including the Bay of Arcachon, the Dune du Pilat and the city of Bordeaux. Ideal for a holiday in the heart of nature, an eco-tourism break or a relaxing weekend in Gironde.
