Description
This bright and comfortable duplex apartment, tastefully and fully renovated in 2026 within a very small, quiet residence, enjoys an ideal location and superb views over Audierne’s marina and small-scale fishing harbour. You can leave your car in the secure car park at the rear of the residence whilst you explore Audierne and the surrounding area, or set off along the GR 34 and the nearby hiking trails. Shops, the weekly local farmers’ market on Friday mornings, seafood restaurants and crêperies are just a short walk from the property along the harbour. The Port of Audierne is the central starting point for exploring the many unmissable tourist attractions of the Brittany peninsula: - The Isle of Sein with its colourful houses and lighthouse, accessible by speedboat from Audierne, - The famous Pointe du Raz (Grand Site de France) at sunset on the westernmost tip of Europe (the last bit of land before America!) - The GR 34 hiking trail with breathtaking views from the top of the cliffs, including the Pointe du Van and its little Saint They chapel facing the sea, or the Baie des Trépassés - Stroll along the River Goyen to reach the charming little town of Pont Croix ( (voted France’s second favourite village in 2019). I have put together a welcome booklet for the apartment, covering restaurants, shops and things to do in Audierne and the surrounding area. I can also email it to you straight away after you’ve made your booking, so you can make your arrangements a little in advance. These represent just a small selection of what’s available and what you can find online, but they are also the ones I know best.
Access map
When you arrive in Audierne from Quimper, you will cross a bridge. At the roundabout, take the second exit on the right onto Quai Anatole France. If you are coming from Douarnenez, at the roundabout take the first exit on the right onto Quai A. France. Very soon, you will see the entrance on your right leading to the private car park of the Résidence du Port, which is located between the Caisse d’Epargne and the bar-tobacconist’s. Please note!!! The street numbering in Audierne has recently changed. Your sat-nav may send you too far down the quay, past the former Hôtel de Cornouailles. This is not the correct address!!
